Outlook for Seed Products After War Ends

Edwin W. Thompson of the Bureau of Commerce told cotton oil men that Germany will seek millions of tons of cotton seed meal and oil seeds once the British blockade lifts. Baptist Women Rally Ahead of Texas Conven tion

Waco Texas November 22. The Baptist women mission workers of Texas and the pastors and laymen’s conference open as a prelim to the general convention. Mrs F S Davis presides over a gathering of about one thousand at the First Baptist church. The fundraising total surpassed 250000 in the last year with officers elected for the pastors and laymen’s group. The event is seen as the largest convention in the state’s history with about five hundred attendance at the conference.

El Paso Texas reports Mrs Juana Torres de Villa died recently in Guadalajara Mexico according to a letter. She claimed to be Francisco Villas second wife and had lived in Los Angeles after he became a bandit and came to El Paso during the Carrizal affair. She was ordered deported and left for Chihuahua City. Mrs Luiz Corral Villa who claims to be Villas first wife is believed to be in Havana Cuba.
