J K Howell of San Antonio stockman purchases cattle in Brazos Grimes and Robertson counties to ship to his Kyle Texas ranch. The Woman's Missionary Society of the First Methodist Church held group meetings at members' homes. Fuller Named Head of National Feed Control Association

F D Fuller chief of the Feed Control Service at A and M College returns from Washington where he attended the seventeenth annual convention of the Association of Feed Control Officials joining delegates from 24 states and Canada. Mrs. Nancy Conn Dies at Madisonville Widow of J. G. Conn

Mrs. Nancy Conn widow of J. G. Conn died at her home near Madisonville after illness. Funeral set for Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the Conn home with burial in Oxford community cemetery beside her husband. Survivors include daughter Arsule Conn and Mrs. W. F. Gibbs of Bryan, son Prof. J. T. Conn of Austin, and brother James Williams of Pasadena. The Gibbs store in Bryan will close in mourning.
