Mrs Frances E Grubbs aged 83 died at 12 30 pm Wednesday November 11 at the Waite home in Bryan after a week of pneumonia. Born December 5 1831 in Franklin County Georgia she was married to Richard L Grubbs in 1856. Survived by daughter Mrs A N Payne of Arp Georgia. Funeral at 3 pm Thursday at First Baptist Church with City Cemetery burial.

S S Baker 70 of Carthage TX, member of the Texas State Legislature, was found dead in a New Orleans hotel at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
