H J Williams, a 54 year old coal miner from Mine No 8 near Fairfield Alabama, declares Tanlac rescued him from near death. He says he lost 45 pounds and regained 25 after starting the medicine, returning to work and planning to support his family. He insists Tanlac cured his condition, whether pellagra or other illness, and praises its effects.
Shiloh defeated Dowling 12 to 2 in a spirited Friday game. Dowling won the first meeting. the deciding game will be held at a future date.
The Navasota Examiner reports only eight of 163 officers and men from Grimes County who served under Captain J. C.
