Wellborn Man Dies After Lingering Illness

John G. Williams aged 65 years 2 months 15 days died Thursday evening at 8 o clock at the family home eight miles east of Wellborn after a lingering illness. Born January 8 1860 in Alabama he moved to Texas in 1882 and lived in Brazos County in the Wellborn Millican area as a farmer. Funeral services were held this afternoon at Millican cemetery with Rev. J J Tatum and Rev. C B Thompson officiating. Burial in Millican Cemetery. Fire at Ellison Memorial Baptist Church endangers 200 children

A Sunday blaze at the Ellison Memorial Baptist Church in Fort Worth damaged both the main church and the Sunday school building. Munroe Wilkes Dies at 70 in Bryan

James Munroe Wilkes, aged 70, died Monday afternoon in Bryan. Born February 1, 1849 in Macon Georgia he moved to Texas in 1854 with his parents the Wilkes family of Cass County. Funeral services were held at 2 PM today from the Covey home with Rev H H M eain presiding and burial in Bryan City Cemetery.
