Mrs. Kate Wurzbach 76 wife of the late C L Wurzbach county judge and mother of nine, died suddenly at the family home in San Antonio. Her son is Representative Harry M Wurzbach. Naval omnibus bill signed during inauguration day

President Calvin Coolidge signed several major measures at the Capitol during his inauguration. The naval omnibus bill the second deficiency bill and the legislative appropriation bill with salary reductions for cabinet and Congress were all enacted today.

Bible Classes Elect Officers for Team

At a regular joint meeting of the Friendship Bible class and the Homemakers class held Monday evening, officers for the coming term were elected. The Friendship Bible class named Evelyn Crawford president and Artie Barron as assistant secretary, among others. the Homemakers class chose H P Smith president and Parker Carroll as assistant secretary and treasurer, with Mrs Albert Buchanan re elected as teacher for both groups.
