At Smith Drug Company in Bryan a 150 bowls of goldfish were advertised for sale drawing a large crowd. The fish did not arrive yesterday and waited on the sidewalk this morning as the expressman left them there. Within an hour the bowls sold out and extra fish were rushed from other stores to restock for a potential repeat sale.

Two Negroes Arrested in Bryan for Transporting Liquor

Reuben Davis of near Manford and Ernest Nero of Bryan were arrested on Main Street after a collision near the water tank. Officer J D Conlee recovered three quarts of whiskey from their car and placed them under arrest. Raymond Jones, with his family in the other car from Adams Barber Shop, was unharmed by the crash.
