Statewide Agricultural Meet Scheduled in Dallas

Texas Agriculture Commissioner George B. Terrell urges farmers and farm groups to attend a statewide Agricultural Conference at the Baker Hotel in Dallas on January 28 1926 at 10 o'clock. The goals include reducing 1926 cotton acreage, promoting better staple cotton, increasing feed crops, soil rotation, and forming county and school district organizations. Reverends Thompson and Tatum Return from Henderson Revival

Reverends C. B. Thompson and J. J. Tatum of the Free Baptist denomination arrived in Bryan by car after attending a revival in Henderson. They were with evangelist Miller aiding Rev. E. S. Jameson and Rev. W. M. Biggers, formerly of Union Hill. The Henderson meeting had more than 50 conversions already.

Installation of the new Advisory Board and officers of Bryan Assembly, Order of the Rainbow, took place Friday at 8 o'clock in the Masonic Temple. Dorothy Graham was named worthy advisor, Estelle Meyer associate worthy advisor, Jewell Sowarbystedt secretary, Gussie Ballerstedt Faith, Maurine Howell Hope, Catherine Mitchell Charity.
