David Reeves Hurt In Benchley Road Car Wreck

A late night accident on Benchley Road left David Reeves badly injured as his car overturned. Police and Dr. Sims attended, Reeves was taken to the Moehlman Hotel for care, with serious arm leg and rib injuries and severe cuts. Reeves, seeking work, said his wife is in Nacona, Texas, and his mother lives in Henderson Texas.

Sbisa and his grandson William Ray Kerr returned from Havana Cuba after spending the holidays with E. W. Kerr and his wife Ray Kerr's parents. Kerr is a student at A and M College. Sbisa notes Havana has grown bustling as a winter tourist mecca.

Bryan H and T repairing grade crossings on 28th street

Asphalt is being poured today by H and T railroad workers on the grade crossing near Chambers Wilson Motor Company on 28th street to smooth traffic. Repairs will be made on 25th and 26th streets after 28th street work finishes. City Manager J Bryan Miller led discussions with railroad officials and plans for protective arms at these crossings.
