Roma Green, a negro, was bound over to the grand jury this afternoon by Justice J. T. McGee on a charge of assault with intent to kill. Green is charged with shooting another negro about four weeks ago at Kurten. His bond was fixed at $500.

Funeral Service For Wisconsinite Here on Sunday
Funeral services for C A Wiklund geologist and oil driller who died at a local hotel after ten days of illness from flu and pneumonia were held Sunday afternoon at 3 30 from the McCulloch Dansby chapel. A Bryan crowd attended the rites for Wiklund who came from Wisconsin to work on Mosely land near the Brazos river. Interment was in Bryan cemetery owned by Federated Missionary Societies. Pallbearers included Tom Burg Roy Nunn W S Hughes W C Mitchell H A Hillburn and H G Dickenson. He is survived by two daughters Nellie and Ruth and by a widow in Kenosha Wisconsin who was ill at the time of his death.

Funeral Service for Charles Larocca at St Anthony's
Funeral services for Charles Larocca aged 57 of Mudville were held Friday at 1 pm at St Anthony's Catholic church. Rev Basil Brain officiated and burial followed in the Catholic cemetery. Larocca died Sunday night at 7:30 after a ten day illness. He had lived in Mudville two years, worked as a shoemaker, and came from Patterson, Louisiana. Survived by two children Joe Larocca and Sallie Larocca, one sister Mrs Genevieve Zematta of Houston, and brother-in-law John Depuma of Bryan. Funeral arrangements by J B Creed of Hearne.
