Luke Palermo Arrested In Fan and Stamp Theft Case
Luke Palermo was arrested Monday night and jailed on theft of electric fans and postage stamps. State Board Sets 1934 35 Scholastic Aid At 16 50

Bryan man dies in three vehicle crash on Astine road Houston
W. M. Jones of Bryan, a Bryan produce man and Steep Hollow native, died after a three vehicle wreck on the Astine road near Houston. His wife was critically injured and Mrs. W. C. Fleet of Houston suffered severe cuts. Two Bryan men, Arthur Lee Brown and Bill Carr, were riding on the truck and Carr was fatally injured. A light coupe driven by H. H. Fernandez of Liberty Road, Houston, crashed into the truck after veering toward it, bursting into flames and killing Fernandez. The body of Jones was to be brought to Bryan by the Southern Pacific at noon today.
