Special to the Eagle April 28 Coy Jones inhaled smoke while rescuing items from his mother’s burning house. He was unconscious and rushed to Bryan Hospital but recovering as doctors worked to avert pneumonia. Neighbors fought the fire, which started in a clothes closet, preventing spread to other rooms.
