Fountain to Host Teas for Methodist Ladies Society
E. J. Fountain announces a tea series at his store to benefit church women. The first tea is Friday Oct 26 from 5 to 8 p m, refreshments provided by Fountain, served by ladies, with all proceeds to the Methodist ladies. Fountain also donates 5 percent of store sales during these hours to the ladies.

County Court Disposes Pistol and Peace Disturbance Cases
In county court yesterday Joe Zaby pled guilty to carrying a pistol and was fined $100 plus costs. Ed Taylor, colored, was convicted of disturbing the peace and fined $1 plus costs. Nat Thornton, colored, had his case for carrying a pistol continued on his application.
