Car sheds burn in Enid fire

Fire destroyed 300 foot car sheds used by the Denver Enid and Gulf railroad in Enid Oklahoma along with a parlor car one engine and a large amount of material and tools. Loss estimated between 12000 and 15000 dollars with light insurance carried. Origin of the blaze unknown.

The Kroll Furniture Manufacturing plant in Allentown Pennsylvania, a major producer of parlor furniture east of the Mississippi, was destroyed by fire. Losses amount to 115000 with 75000 insured. Three hundred workers were left unemployed by the blaze.

Fire destroys woolen factory and saw mill in Laconia losses

A six story fire in Laconia New York on February 17 caused 100 900 in damage. The blaze started in a five story woolen factory building owned by the Winnewamaukee Lake Cotton and Woolen Manufacturing company and destroyed the factory and the adjoining saw mill and wood plant.
