Grand Duke Sergius Killed in Moscow Bombing
Moscow February eighteenth reports detail a single terrorist from the Social Revolutionary party who threw a bomb beneath Grand Duke Sergius carriage, tearing his body to pieces. The Grand Duchess Elizabeth was elsewhere at the Kremlin when the explosion occurred. The assassin failed to reveal his name, was captured after resisting and praised the death of the grand duke. Authorities held requiem services for Sergius with officials and staff present.

Body found in hulls at Longview cotton mill
The longview Tex mill yard uncovered the decomposed corpse of Frank Novak a Springfield cigarmaker about 35 to 40 years old. Papers show death around February 3 or 4 and letters from his mother and brother were found with the body. An empty bottle labeled T and P hospital Marshall dated February 2 1905 was located nearby.

Farmers Congress to Hold Eighth Annual Meeting at College Station
The Texas Farmers' congress executive committee met in Dallas on February 18 to plan the eighth annual gathering at College Station on July 25 to 27. They approved a three day programme and adopted a resolution asking the legislature to exempt farmers and farmers institutes from the anti free pass bill. The group also sought use of Adjutant General Hulen’s 1000 tents for attendees.
