Seven Methodist groups from the Kirksville district will hold a joint convention at Brookfield on June 2 and 3. Dr E N Garrett reports 450 to 500 attendees with 200 delegates from the young people and 150 from missionary societies. Principal speaker will be Charles L Mead bishop of the Kansas City area. Other leaders include Mrs Frank Davis Rev Freeman Havighurst Rev Paul Durham and Mrs W L Wright.

Wool Grading Begins For Linn County Pool Sale
The Linn County Sheep and Wool Growers Association started grading early this week and will continue through the first week of June. Wool arrivals approach 100000 pounds by month’s end, with a June sale expected to bring 20000 to 25000 dollars. Ray Cox of Trenton entered his wool this week as farmers from the area bring stock to the pool. A. D. Leavell presides over the wool growers committee which plans to set the sale date this Saturday.
