Guy T. Carter born February 18 1891 in Browning Missouri died May 30 1938 after a long life as a traveling salesman livestock dealer and optical supplies dealer. He leaves wife Lora M Carter four daughters and three brothers with funeral held June 1 at the Baptist Church in Browning.

Bank Bandits Caught Near Tarkio After Iowa Hold Up
Two men, Ernest H. McCarthy and Harry Korte, were arrested Thursday on U S highway 59 near Tarkio after holding up the Bank Imogene in Imogene Iowa. They confessed to twelve bank robberies including Citizens Savings Bank in October 1937. They fled, helped by locals, and were later identified in photos after arrests. Four accomplices already convicted with sentences from 10 to 50 years. McCarthy had a prior reform school record. Korte had none.
