Daniel Webster Nichols died in Dallas Texas after a long illness at his daughter’s home age 81. Born May 7 1856 Linneus Missouri he taught school and married Martha Jane Lee in 1884. Survived by seven children eight grandchildren and siblings. funeral May 14 at Haseville Church.

General Purpose Club Meeting Amid Roads Illnesses and Death
The General Purpose Club failed to meet April 22 due to bad roads illness and death. On May 13 they gathered at Mrs John Jacobs with fifteen members and many guests including Genevieve Sheppard Mary Sheppard Tippie Johnson Ference Johnson Ray Johnson Clay Dell Carrie Neely Loutis Neely and John Oliver plus John Jacobs and six children.
