Jeramiah Hardin Tharp born Sullivan County Missouri November 17 1849 died May 5 1937 aged 87 years 5 months 18 days. He married Nancy Jane Dodson June 10 1877. eight children born five living. Survived by wife five children twenty two grandchildren eight great grandchildren and many relatives. Funeral services were conducted. He joined Christian Union Church about 1890 and lived near his birthplace. If he had lived to June 10 their 60th wedding anniversary would be celebrated.

Grade School Program Delights Audience With Variety
Last week in the school auditorium the grade school staged an entertaining show directed by Miss Lorraine Glaze and Mrs Vera Lay. The lower grades performed in costume with vocal numbers readings dialogues and monologues while the higher grades presented one act plays readings and a closing band medley. The program, featuring six band selections, was praised as above the usual standard.
