Drowning claims life of Linneus youth Jo L Winterscheid
In Linneus on May 1 1938 14 year old Jo L Winterscheid drowned after entering a pond near the Warner property with a group of boys. Roy E Perkins and diver Earl Cornett rescued the body but life could not be saved. He was a high school freshman and son of Mr and Mrs Henry D Winterscheid.
