Broadcasting Station KFEQ of St. Joseph sponsored the Home Talent show Friday evening in the high school auditorium. Thirty four acts from Browning and nearby communities performed, with the Harmoneers vocal trio taking first prize for a medley. Second went to the Stardusters singing Dreamer’s Holiday, followed by Wilma Johnson with guitar and yodeling in third, and a boys quartet winning fourth. Audience praise and lists of notable numbers closed the event.
