William Henry Clay Gooch, born October 2, 1839 in Kentucky, died June 12, 1937 near Browning Missouri. He served in the Union Army, married Mary Ann Chenoweth in 1869, and later remarried Perneta Moore. Survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. funeral held June 14 with interment in Gooch cemetery.
