Mrs H Knifong Passes Away in Ben Idaho

Ovida Belle Hubler was born November 6 1869 near Nort Salem Missouri and died July 5 1942 in Eden Idaho at age 72 years 9 months. She married James Herman Knifong April 7 1897 who died January 4 1927. They had four sons and two daughters with grandchildren and siblings named. Funeral services were held July 11 at the Baptist church in Winigan with interment in Kaifong cemetery beside her husband and children.

Plans for Sullivan County Feeder Cattle Sale Called Meeting

Tires Stolen From Shelby Garage in Linn County Heist

The Wilson Auto and Radio Shop in Shelby was robbed early Monday July 13, with 14 new tires and one recap taken. Thieves used a side window to enter, broke a gate lock, and left four obsolete tires. A safe containing about 160 dollars was untouched. loss estimated around 975. No fingerprints were found and no insurance coverage.

Mrs. Emmett Haley learned Sunday that her uncle W. W. Bailey had died in Burlington Iowa after a period of illness. Haley went to Burlington to attend the funeral held yesterday.
