Wolf intrudes at Linhart farm. dog missing, geese slain
Monday night C. C. Linhart and his family on the S. H. Linhart farm faced a wolf that stood on its hind legs at the window. With no firearm, Linhart kicked his dogs after the animal and one dog is believed killed. A pair of geese were also found slain. The bitter cold likely drove the wolf to action.
