Ora Anna Karr born near Baltimore on March 17 1866 died February 2 1942 at her home in Purdin Missouri aged 75 years 11 months 15 days She married R W Cassity on May 12 1851 and had Cecil L Cassity W P Cassity and Carl T Cassity Three sons and several grandchildren survive Funeral services February 4 at the home led by Rev E M Hines and Rev Robinson with burial in Purdin cemetery beside her husband.

Secretary of State Dwight H. Brown fixed midnight February 18 as the last date for Missouri motorists to operate vehicles with 1941 license plates. On February 19, patrols will begin arresting those who have not purchased 1942 tags, on sale since December 29.
