Rebecca Jane Boswell born December 5 1850 in Russell county Virginia moved to Missouri with her family. She married J K P Knifong September 10 1870 and leaves seven children and a large community mourners. Funeral held December 6 in Knifong Grove with Rev W O G Potter leading. Interment Knifong Grove cemetery. The piece also advertises a 100 acre Knifong farm near Farnest and Lander priced 75 to 80 per acre with sale before January 1 1913 and options for nearby land plus small farms offered by J D Burwell Browning Missouri.

Pioneer Dan Myers Dies at Age 83 in Duncan Township
Daniel Myers born January 19 1831 in Delaware County Indiana came with his mother to Missouri as a child and spent most of his life in Sullivan county. He married Lucy Baskett in 1853 producing eight children and twenty six grandchildren. After first wife died in 1895 he wed Nancy Jerome in 1896. He accumulated over five hundred acres and remained frail in his final year. He died Wednesday December 4 and funeral services led by Rev J W Drinkhard were held Friday December 6 at Mt Olive cemetery.
