Gibson dies prominent banker in Chillicothe area
Samuel L. Gibson 76 retired banker of Livings ton Linn Counties died at 1013 Cooper Street Chillicothe after a week of declining health. He served as cashier and president of regional banks, was a long time Mason and I O O F member, and survived by three sons and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held with Masonic and IOOF honors. Burial beside his wife in Jenkins cemetery.
