Lee Roy Brantner born February 5, 1883 near Browning Missouri. died April 14, 1938 at Colfax hospital Washington after moving to Palouse for health. Survived by wife Agnes and six children from first marriage and two daughters from second marriage. Final rites held April 16 at Palouse Christian church.

Word reached Sunday night that Samuel Brassfield died that afternoon at his daughter's home in Salem Oregon. Burial was in Siletz Oregon on Tuesday. He had been in failing health for months with heart-related illness. He is survived by his wife and a son of Siletz Oregon two daughters from a previous marriage Mrs Hope Holdenman Oakland California and Mrs Opal Foreman Salem Oregon one sister Mrs Della Hoselton and two brothers Parse and J W Brassfield near Browning.
