Hook embraces martial arts faith and Norwich journey
One Hook's martial arts path began in high school at Sang Kim's in Lubbock where he earned a third degree black belt and serves as head assistant instructor. He credits the discipline with shaping life, faith, and leadership while detailing his mentor Master Kim who became a father-figure and wedding guest. He moved to Vermont, joined Norwich College via faith and scholarships, and now balances church service with a growing spiritual life, teaching youth and sharing beliefs with his fiancée.
