Brownfield Graduate Garcia Named FBI Personnel Chief
Ruben Garcia Jr., a 1969 Brownfield High School graduate, is named assistant director of the FBI in charge of the Personnel Division at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D C. He currently serves as special agent in charge of the San Antonio Field Office and has a long career across San Diego Miami and San Antonio with roles in drug trafficking terrorism civil rights and white collar crime investigations. He will begin his new duties June 1 with the Personnel Division overseeing 870 employees.
