Light turnout yields incumbents in county elections

Across five races including two city councils and three school boards, incumbents prevailed. Brownfield voters chose Roy Edwards over Wayne Sanders 50 37 for District Four, Nancy Wade unopposed for District Five, and at large picks went to Barney Lindly and David Ervin. Meadow and Brownfield boards re elected Caswell King and Bayer Gilbreath respectively. Terry Memorial Hospital District retained four incumbents Pfeiffer Raney Wade Park. Meadow and Brownfield council swearing ins set for May 9 to May 19.
