Public hearings set on game and fish law changes week of March 21
Texas Parks and Wildlife officials plan public hearings across counties from March 21 to 25 to present proposed changes in game and fish regulations under P and W authority. Farm accident injures Paul Waters on family farm
Paul Waters, 20, of Rt 1 Meadow, was injured at about 10:30 am Wednesday while removing a cotton stripper from a tractor on the L. M. Waters Jr. farm in the Pool Community. The stripper struck him on the head, causing a six inch gash and a concussion, with neck and shoulder injuries. He was taken to Brownfield General Hospital where he remains hospitalized.
