Vandals Strike Brownfield Area As Patrols Increase

Over three days vandals damaged multiple vehicles in Brownfield. Incidents included broken windshields on a 1970 Toyota station wagon and a 1972 Chevrolet Caprice, plus smashings on a 1981 Halliburton Services Ford LTD, a 1970 truck, a 1980 Mercury with slashed tires, and a 1979 Pontiac with a slashed vinyl top. Police noted likely local suspects and raised patrols. eight arrests were also reported for public intoxication, possession, theft, and a bad check warrant.
