Brownfield BISD trails in TAKS tests district wide
Brownfield Independent School District ranked last in over half of 26 TAKS exams with 15 tests showing the lowest district-wide passing percentage. Dimmitt and Littlefield posted low results in several tests, while Lubbock-Cooper, Crane and Muleshoe led in multiple categories. Superintendent Charles Harrison acknowledged underperformance and promised fuller comments in Wednesday’s edition.
