Local Girl Wins First in Rodeo
Brenda Hyman won first in the junior girls barrel race at the Gaines County Rodeo. The event closed Monday after rainouts of Thursday events, drawing about 1,500 fans for a total attendance near 5,000. This marked Miss Hyman’s first rodeo competition. Brenda is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Bill Hyman.
