Airport Hangar Damaged by Terry County Storm
The Terry County Airport suffered major damage from Monday's storm with winds possibly twister induced. The hangar owned by Harris Flying Service and four airplanes inside were damaged, totaling about 300000 dollars. Aircraft owners include Harris Birdsong Peanuts Gene Adamson and Harvey Cottrell. The hangar’s repair timeline is unclear as the south end remains torn and the landing beacon, county property, was also affected. FAA was alerted about the non functioning beacon.
