Youth Bitten by Black Widow on Fishing Trip
Delton Grove of Route 1 was bitten by a black widow spider near Paint Rock while with his family. The bite occurred on the foot as they prepared to return home. Car Crash Claims Brownfield Man Life Near Farm Road 2066
A one car accident 7 miles north on Farm Road 2066 at 7 25 pm Thursday killed 38 year old William Ellis Heathcoat and critically injured 44 year old J T Renfro. Authorities say a blown right front tire caused the high speed crash into a cotton field. Heathcoat died on arrival at Treadaway Daniels Hospital. Renfro remained in critical condition Saturday morning but improving.
