Theft of two trailer wheels and tires in Wellman incident
J R Thomas reported two trailer wheels and tires stolen from a fuel trailer near Wellman. Sheriff Fulford and Deputy Gordon arrested two men nearby after a motorist assisted, finding the missing items between the suspects' seats. A W Fore, 79, a pioneer Terry County resident, died at 9 30 p m Saturday after a long illness in Tread away Daniell Hospital. Fore farmed in the county 31 years and moved to Meadow 10 years ago. Born in Prescott Arkansas on January 27 1878 he married Buford Ellen Waddle in 1856. He was a Baptist Church member. Funeral services were incomplete.

A 48 year old Plains resident Odis L. Lusk died about 6 p.m. Monday at Treadaway-Daniell Hospital after a heart attack at a construction site. Funeral services are pending with word from his Air Force abroad son. Survivors include his wife Janita Fay Hague and several children and siblings.
