Ranchers Hear Field Day Findings On Shin Oak Control In Plains
About 50 Yoakum County ranchers attended a Plains field day highlighting Grasslan results on Shin Oak and Mesquite. Guided tours of treated Mesquite plots at Howard Ranch and Field’s Ranch showcased early soil type effects and notable grass production gains. Texas Tech researchers noted four years of Shin Oak management work and planned production records, ending with an Elanco sponsored barbecue at Mrs Mattie Fields ranch.
