Funeral services for 72 year old E. D. Duncan will be held at 2 30 p m today at First Methodist Church with Rev. Harley Holloway and Rev. Alby J Cocke rell officiating. Burial in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under Brownfield Funeral Home direction. Duncan a Wellman area resident since 1947 died at 7 10 p m Tuesday in Lubbock Methodist Hospital after a long illness. He was World War I veteran moved from Oklahoma to Foster in 1926 then to Wellman 12 years ago. Terry County Young Farmers Meet Led by Stockton Speaker
About 20 members and three visitors attended the Terry County Young Farmers Association meeting at Brownfield High School. John Stockton spoke on 1969 government programs for cotton and grain sorghum and urged planting full cotton allotments in quality fiber for competitive prices. Plans discussed for the Terry County Junior Livestock Show set for March 13 to 15 with swine, calves, and lamb entries, plus a feedlot tour to Friona and Hereford area led by Merlin Speed.
