UPS Seeks Intrastate Operating Authority in Texas
UPS outlines history and current status as it seeks Texas intrastate authority. The carrier notes it already handles interstate shipments, cites Texas as home to more UPS employees than Connecticut, and mentions plans to expand service to deliver parcels within Texas and nationwide. It emphasizes competitive pricing, a vast network of over 1000 centers, and daily delivery volumes exceeding five million parcels with about 300,000 in Texas.
