Deadline Extended for Chamber Questionnaires
Chamber of Commerce Directors voted Thursday to push back the return deadline for questionnaires to allow more members to submit recommendations for the Chamber of Commerce and Board of Directors. About 240 cards were sent. only 85 percent responded in 1984, with early returns showing focus on improved recreation facilities and a new retail committee.

Christmas Seals Campaign Totals $516 in Terry County
The Terry County Tuberculosis Association reports $516.86 raised from Christmas Seals sales led by executive secretary Mrs. Earl Jones. Included were $34.46 from Brownfield schools and $11.90 from Meadow schools. The funds fall short for the year as 23 people need check-ups from a mass X ray program and about 20 heart ailment reports followed screening of over 2,000 people. Contributions can be mailed to the Terry County Tuberculosis Association.

March of Dimes Turns To Bridge Players For Dollars
The March of Dimes program in Terry County starts January 17 to 29 with an honor bridge rule requiring each bridge participant to donate 1.
