Annual meeting of the Tri-County Cotton Classing Association will start at 7 30 p m Tuesday in 121st District Court. Top agenda item is electing two new directors. More than 50 Goodpasture Liquid Fertilizer dealers gathered Wednesday at The Armory for a workshop and barbecue. Jean Pieraerts, formerly of the Congo, spoke on farming challenges and soil variation, noting widespread rainfall and soil diversity. Equipment displays and talks by Stone and others highlighted new liquid fertilizer applications, with dealers traveling from Farwell to Knox City and Rochester. An additional meeting is planned for early March.
