Carroll Cobb Announces Bid for State Senate From 28th District
Carroll Cobb of Lubbock announced his candidacy for the state Senate in the Democratic primary from the 28th District covering Andrews, Cochran, Crosby, Dawson, Gaines, Hockley, Lubbock, Lynn, Martin, Terry and Yoakum counties. A World War II veteran and UT Law School graduate, Cobb served in the Texas House from the 99th District, was re elected in 1954, backed teacher pay raises, supported veteran and insurance measures, and chaired the House Sub Committee that tightened insurance company incorporation requirements. He resides at 4604-B Boston and is approaching 30. He has never been cross filed.
