Brownfield team wins statewide innovation award
Brownfield maintenance group of the Texas Department of Transportation received the Staff's Choice Award from the Texas Incentive and Productivity Commission for a pulley hoist system. Terry Crutcher Roberto Moreno Robert Bullard and Leonard Macias designed a one person tailgate lift to reduce injuries and ease operation, with Leonard credited for the design. The team traveled to Austin for a Governor's Mansion ceremony to accept the honor.
