Gead Intervention program leaders David Chasteen and Mitch McElroy head the Brownfield Goodfellows as they receive 587 dollars for the Terry County Christmas Tree Program. The funds buy food and gifts for families in need. The Supervisions Department and CRTC thank Terry County Co op Gin for a can collection trailer and DePoyster for purchasing the cans.

Water district expands tax relief and irrigation registrations
District official Coleman notes the IRS Cost and Water Depletion Program assists irrigated landowners by allowing tax deductions for declining water levels. About 83 requests were fulfilled last year and 40 new requests this year. The district also pushes annual irrigation system registrations, with 460 of 1,350 systems registered so far, and reminders being sent to producers.
