The BISD board approved purchasing diesel powered school buses despite higher costs, citing double mileage and longer engine life though maintenance concerns remain. They also endorsed the 1980-81 outside audit by CPA Michael Schaffner and approved use of gym facilities by Brownfield Little Dribblers.
May Ellen Lary deeded tract to Terry County Memorial Hospital District as the Brownfield Regional Medical Center board reappointed its medical staff. The finance report and November insurance claims totaling 353 997 43 were reviewed. The BPD logged 145 calls. two public intoxication arrests and other cases were reported. Five arrests included a desertion and an attempted aggravated rape. Meeting adjourned with bills approved. Sincerely Herbert Chesshir.
