Brownfield Council approves ordinance amendment and dog services deal
Brownfield City Council in regular session approved an amendment to the trash and refuse ordinance and, after a presentation by Don Sales, tabled a project to install 7 790 feet of aluminum pipe for effluent water at TDJC property near the Jim Rudd Transfer Unit. The panel also authorized an interlocal agreement for drug dog services with Brownfield Regional Court Residential Treatment Center, increasing monthly cost from 87 50 to 105. A resident raised concerns about a burglary investigation by the Brownfield Police Department, but no action was taken due to Chief Roy Rice's absence.
