School Board Approves 81 82 Budget in Local Tax Plan
The School Board unanimously approved the 1981 82 budget with local taxes totaling 2 710 717, exceeding proposed local funds by 1 510. Local funds for the interest and sinking fund stand at 327 678, 27 690 less than the planned 355 368. If 15 000 interest is added, surplus drops from 150 730 to 138 040. The board also approved changes to the 1980 81 budget and authorized hiring 21 teachers.
