Vacations End as Terry County Schools Prepare for 1981 Open
Summer vacation ended for Terry County districts in 1981 with Plains already in session and others starting within days. Brownfield School Board selects Dr Crandall J Young
In a special session Friday the Brownfield School Board unanimously hired Dr Crandall J Young as superintendent effective September 21. He will succeed W O Caraway who resigns August 31 after serving since 1967. Dr Young signed his contract with wife Marjie present and expressed enthusiasm for the Brownfield system.
